Operation Red Nose lands in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Rudolph will not be the only red nosing landing in Saskatoon this holiday season.

Operation Red Nose is also coming to the Bridge City.

The campaign is a national road safety campaign to reduce impaired driving during the holidays.

SGI and Lion Club volunteers are teaming up for the campaign in Saskatchewan, which started four years ago in The Battlefords and expanded to Prince Albert last year.

This will be the first year it has run in Saskatoon.

There is no cost to use the program but donations are graciously accepted.

“All client donations are given to local non-profit organizations that support youth and/or amateur sport,” said Jean-Marie De Koninck, founding president of Operation Red Nose.
