HAFFORD, Sask. – A woman is dead and two men have been taken to hospital after a crash this morning on Highway 40 near Hafford, Saskatchewan.
The crash happened shortly before 11:00 a.m. approximately 20 km west of Hafford between an eastbound van and a westbound semi.

The woman, a passenger in the van, was declared dead at the scene.
The drivers have been taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Blaine Lake RCMP say weather conditions were poor at the time of the crash.
The highway is expected to be closed for several hours while police investigate.
