UPDATE: Yorkton, Sask. RCMP recover firearm used to shoot windshield and charge youth
A hole was discovered in a windshield after reports of shots fired in Yorkton, Sask. Monday night.
According to RCMP, police were called to 1st Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. CT after residents at the north end of the street near York Road heard a loud bang.
Police then found a hole in the windshield of a vehicle parked on 1st Avenue North.
RCMP say the hole was caused by a bullet.
A small, red SUV was seen in the area at the same time the gunshot was heard, police said.
