Manitoba kids are among the worst students in the country, that’s according to a new report released Tuesday.
The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) compares science, math and reading skills for 15 year olds in 72 countries.

Canada ranks fourth overall in science, but Manitoba ranked second last among the provinces.
The number of students performing at the lowest level has gone up in our province from the last test and our overall score is down.
Manitoba’s test scores in reading and math were also below the national average.
