Wine store robbery in West Kelowna

One man is in custody after a West Kelowna liquor store was held up Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m., RCMP responded to the Wine Store on Louie Drive.
There was a man with a knife inside the store but he was taken into custody after a brief chase with police.
Police have cordoned off the back of the store with police tape. Several vehicles are included in the cordoned off area.
A police dog unit and ambulance were called to the scene.
This is the third robbery in two days in the Central Okanagan. On Monday afternoon, the Wild Kingdom in West Kelowna was robbed and a few hours later, a Subway restaurant in downtown Kelowna was held up.
There is no word yet on whether the three incidents are related.
