Missing hiker found suffering mild hypothermia: Manitoba RCMP

Manitoba RCMP located an overdue hiker near the Manitoba and Ontario border.

The 33-year-old woman was supposed to finish a hike on the Mantario Trail Thursday. She was suffering from mild hypothermia when search and rescue crews found her, according to an RCMP tweet.

On Dec. 1 around 7:20 p.m., Falcon Lake RCMP received a call about the overdue hiker.

The woman who planned to hike the trail to Mantario Lake to camp for the night, was supposed to be back Thursday afternoon.

RCMP said she is an avid hiker and was well prepared for the elements with food and shelter.
