According to Saskatchewan Review Board documents obtained by Global News, Elliot has now asked for his status to be changed so he can visit his mom outside of hospital walls.

While Elliot is currently stable, the board said it’s their belief that he continues to post a significant risk to the public.

His medications appear to be effective but that management is dependant on being in a highly-supervised environment.

Nonetheless, the board said since Elliot is not seeking a general discharge, his request is going to be reviewed.
