NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – The Saskatchewan Review Board has ruled that Alvin Buckwold will remain in North Battleford’s Saskatchewan Hospital until further notice.
Buckwold, 32, who was found not criminally responsible last June for his father’s death at a residence at Emma Lake, struggles with schizophrenia.

In the opinion of his treatment team, Buckwold is improving, but needs further treatment and remains a threat to the public.
His next review has been scheduled for next October and he has changed his last name to Elliott.
