Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man after they say a woman was sexually assaulted at BMO Field during the Grey Cup Sunday night.
Police said the incident occurred at around 10:10 p.m. outside of the main entrance at the stadium.
The Canadian Football League’s Grey Cup championship game was being played between the Ottawa Redblacks and the Calgary Stampeders at BMO Field on Sunday night.
Officers said the man approached the 32-year-old woman from behind and sexually assaulted her. Investigators said it was captured on video.
Police described the man as having short blond hair and standing 6’2” with a medium-to-heavy build. He is believed to be between 35 and 45 years old.
The man was last seen wearing a black and yellow Hamilton Tiger-Cats scarf, a black and yellow Tiger-Cats #44 jersey and black and yellow pants.
