Tourism Saskatchewan has named the winners of its 2016 ExploreSask Photo Contest after receiving almost 3,000 entries.

The grand prize winner was David Kwiatkowski. Kwiatkowski, who is from Regina, captured a photo of a boulder at Grasslands National Park. The park is located near the village of Val Marie, Sask.

A winning photo was also selected in six other categories, including city life, events and festivals, outdoor fun, park adventures, prairie life and woods and water.
Kwiatkowski’s photo was also the winner in the park adventures category.
