Aretha Franklin extended the length of the Star-Spangled Banner at Thursday’s NFL game between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.
The soul singer’s rendition of the American national anthem, performed at Michigan’s Ford Field, clocked in at four minutes and 35 seconds.
The 74-year-old musical icon, who wore a floor-length mink coat and Detroit Lions toque, sang the long version to a cheering crowd.

Past performers at the Super Bowl have performed the national anthem in approximately two minutes, but Franklin took her time hitting every single note (and then some) of The Star-Spangled Banner.
