WINNIPEG — Emergency crews were busy battling a blaze early Thursday morning, after a van caught fire on the Perimeter Highway.
The fire happened around 8 a.m. near Highway 59.

A witness on scene said the driver heard a noise, pulled over and called a tow truck. That is when the van started on fire.
Fire crews quickly arrived on scene and put out the blaze.
There were no injuries.
