Edmonton police ask public for help finding suspect wanted in 3 groping incidents

Police are asking Edmontonians to help them identify and find a man suspected of three sexual assaults last week.

Two of the assaults occurred on Nov. 8. According to police, the first incident occurred at about 6:20 p.m. A female told police she was groped by a man in the area of 146 Avenue and 25 Street while walking through a parking lot.

Later that night, another female told police she was groped by a man after he approached her from behind as she walked from the Clareview LRT station to the Clareview Recreation Centre at around 7:30 p.m.

The next day, police said a female told them a man approached her from behind and groped her as she ran to catch a bus near 137 Avenue and 27 Street at around 9:40 a.m.

Police said the suspect in all three cases is described as a white man between 30 and 35 years old, about 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall with a slim build. He was described as having dark eyes, short brown hair and a full beard with a moustache. In all three incidents, he was described as wearing a dark toque with either a brown jacket or light-coloured jacket with layers.
