Police said the driver of a northbound vehicle on McOrmond was attempting a left turn onto Attridge when she failed to yield to a southbound vehicle on McOrmond, causing the collision.

A 20-year-old passenger of the vehicle attempting the turn was taken by ambulance to Royal University Hospital. Police said her injuries are expected to be minor.

The driver of the turning vehicle, a 57-year-old woman, was issued a ticket for failing to yield to an approaching vehicle when turning left.
