WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police are investigating a suspicious death after finding a woman with upper body injuries in a hotel room.
On Oct. 27 at 4 p.m., emergency crews were called to a hotel on the 1000 block of McPhillips Street for reports of a woman with upper body injuries.

The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition, however she later died of her injuries on Nov. 7.
Members of the major crimes unit are investigating. The cause of her injuries are unknown at this time.
