Police say a pedestrian who was struck by a car Monday night in Burnaby has now died.
The woman was hit on Burnaby Mountain Parkway near Duthie Avenue around 6 p.m.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died early this morning.
The driver stayed at the scene.
Investigators believe neither alcohol nor drugs were factors.
