Halifax Regional Police confirm the body of a 35-year-old man was found Sunday morning in central Halifax.
Police received a call at around 8:45 a.m., in relation to a sudden death. When officers arrived on scene, they located the deceased man beside a residence in the 2000-block of Brunswick Street.

Officers closed a large portion of Brunswick Street for hours while they collected evidence and processed the scene. The Medical Examiner was also on hand to assist investigators.

The investigation is ongoing. At this time, police say there is nothing suspicious about the man’s death.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
