It is hard to say goodbye, but with a little practice it is getting easier for Bomber fans to bid farewell to Canad Inns Stadium.
“It’s the second annual, so feels good,” said Megan Young. “At least this time we kind of feel like it is the final game.”
Construction delays pushed the opening of the $190 million Investors Group Field back an entire season.
Last year the football team orchestrated a stadium send off during the East Division final.

One done again during a game played solely for pride.
Canad Inns has served the team for 59 years.
“Longest relationship I have ever had,” said Cindy Buss, a season ticket holder for 30 years.
This is the second stadium Peter Kyryluk has seen shut down.
“I said good bye to Osborne Stadium when that closed,” said the 87-year-old. We moved here and now I am saying goodbye to this stadium and hopefully I can make it to the new stadium.”
Some Blue and Gold supporters can’t wait to leave Canad Inns behind.
“The sightlines are terrible here,” said one fan. “You pick up cement in your hands. It’s terrible. It’s been gone for a long time.”
However Canad Inns has hosted many highlights, including when Milt Stegall broke a touchdown record in 2007.
“My life was changed on this field,” said the retired receiver. “Things I was able to do on this field truly changed my life and I am very thankful.”
