Sunshine and heat kick into full swing heading into the weekend!
Saskatoon Forecast
Today
Clear skies overnight allowed temperatures to tip back to the freezing mark overnight.
Then some high cloud moved into the area, making for a beautiful sunrise once again as the mercury rose up to around 6 degrees by noon.
Those clouds will clear out of the area this afternoon as we warm back up into low double digits for a daytime high.

Tonight
Mostly clear skies will prevail overnight tonight as temperatures sink back toward the freezing mark.
Saturday
An upper ridge of high pressure will stick around for the weekend, keeping skies clear and temperatures warm!
As such, Saturday will be a balmy sunny day with an afternoon high around 14 degrees.
Sunday
Sunday should start off sunny, but an approaching but weak cold front will push in late in the day bringing back some clouds.
We won’t feel the cooling effect of the front during the day with a daytime high still expected to sit in the low teens.
Work Week Outlook
We will see a slightly cooler day on Monday behind the front with some lingering cloud cover possible in the morning and a daytime high just into double digits.
Daytime highs will return to the low teens in the sun as the upper ridge builds back in for Tuesday and Wednesday before the next weak cold front slides through.
That front will drop our afternoon high on Thursday likely back into single digits and kick up a few more clouds before the upper ridge, once again, builds back in for Friday pushing us back into double digits.
