TORONTO – Shoppers at a north Toronto shopping centre we’re asked to leave a little before closing time on Friday after a fire broke out in a restaurant.
Fire crews responded to calls of a blaze inside the Milestones Restaurant at Yorkdale Mall just after 8:30 p.m.

Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly.
It started in the kitchen area.
No injuries were reported, and all of the shoppers were evacuated from the mall as a precaution.
