TORONTO – One of Canada’s largest malls had to be evacuated due to a one-alarm fire at an adjacent restaurant Friday night.
Fire crews attended to the scene at the Yorkdale Mall just before 8 p.m. to find smoke coming from the roof.

The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.
Hundreds of people inside the mall were seen leaving the building.
It’s not yet known what caused the fire.
