THUNDER BAY, Ont. – A 22-year-old Norfolk County man is facing a child abduction charge after allegedly taking an 11-year-old girl to northern Ontario.
Provincial police in Thunder Bay, Ont., say they got word on Tuesday that an 11-year-old girl may be on a Greyhound bus heading for the area with the man.

Police say they pulled the bus over en route to Thunder Bay and found both the man and the child on board.
Brandon Labonte was arrested and is charged with abduction of a child under the age of 14.
The girl is in protective custody until she can be returned to her family in Norfolk County.
