Cocaine seized in high-risk Prince Albert, Sask. drug bust

Two Alberta man are in custody after high-risk search in Prince Albert, Sask., ended with a drug bust.

The bust happened Thursday evening at a hotel in the 3500-block of 2nd Avenue West.

Police said they seized 75 grams of cocaine and $4,486 in cash.

Two men, 25 and 32, are charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

The 25-year-old man is also charged with possession of marijuana, obstruction and breach of court orders.

Both were to appear Friday morning in Prince Albert provincial court.

Members of the tactical team helped with the search following an investigation by the Prince Albert integrated street enforcement team.
