Calgary-based online shopping company under investigation

The provincial government executed a search warrant at the home of a man who owns a Calgary- based company ,after the Better Business Bureau heard from dozens of people who complained they did not receive their online orders.

The complaints have come from all over North America.

Officials with Service Alberta are investigating “Canada Only”, a company that ships food, health products and seasonal gifts worldwide.

The Better Business Bureau has received over 85 complaints in the past year from people who not only didn’t receive their orders, but didn’t get a refund.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

“The website looks very legitimate,” said Sandra Crozier-McKee of Calgary’s Better Business Bureau. “Their information as far as their credit cards and so on is secure, and so people order these products and nothing ever comes.”

Global tracked down the owner of “Canada Only”.

Jason Bolduc denies the allegations. He said he is moving his office to Blaine, Washington, leading to delays in filling orders.

Under Alberta’s Fair Trading Act , if you order an item online and don’t receive it within 30 days, you can ask for your money back.

If the company does not give you a refund, it can be charged.
