WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward Marko Dano from the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.
The announcement was made Friday morning. Dano, 21, has two assists in six games with the Moose this season. The forward was among the final cuts made by the Jets in training camp.
Bryan Little has also been placed on retro-active injured reserve due to an jury that happened against the Carolina Hurricanes on Oct. 13.

The Jets acquired Dano from the Chicago Blackhawks Feb. 26, 2016 in exchange for Andrew Ladd. Winnipeg also received a first-round draft pick in the deal and used it to select defenceman Logan Stanley 18th overall in this summer’s draft.
Last season, Dano had eight points in 21 games with Winnipeg after registering two points in 13 games with Chicago and 23 points with the Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate in Rockford.
Over his NHL career, the native of Trencin, Slovakia, has 31 points in 69 games.

After a home win against the Dallas Stars on Thursday, the Jets play Friday night in Colorado against the Avalanche.
