Crash closes westbound lanes of Portage Avenue during rush hour

WINNIPEG — The westbound lanes of Portage Ave. were closed during rush hour Thursday evening after a two vehicle collision.

Emergency crews responded to the area at 5:15 p.m. after reports of a crash involving a truck and four-door car.

Extraction was needed for the occupants of the car and all three passengers involved were transported to hospital as a precaution.

The westbound lanes of Portage Ave. remained closed until 8 p.m.
