A man was taken to an Edmonton hospital after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Whyte Avenue early Thursday morning.
The crash happened near 100 Street sometime after midnight.

The man suffered a broken arm and what appeared to be head injuries, but police said his condition was not considered life-threatening.
Police did not think speed or alcohol were factors in the crash. It remains under investigation.
