RCMP were called to a pedestrian collision just south of Pierceland last Monday evening.
A witness reported a collision involving a truck and a person before 9 p.m. on Highway 21.
Mounties arrived to find a 43-year-old Mudie Lake, Saskatchewan man deceased on the side of the road.

The truck driver was present at the scene of the collision.
An RCMP spokesperson said the driver was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol, however he is charged with suspended driving.
The investigation is still ongoing.
