A two vehicle crash has closed down Highway 1 at Road 70 West near Sidney, Manitoba
The RCMP said a car and semi truck collided in the westbound lanes around 4 p.m Thursday afternoon.

STARS air ambulance has been dispatched to the scene. The RCMP said there are multiple injuries.
Police are urging people to avoid the area because there is no detour in effect.
It is not known how long the major highway will be closed.
