Canada’s linguistic diversity has never been so colourful.
Using data from Statistics Canada’s latest census release, Global News mapped the mother tongues of the nation. The maps below show the top mother tongue by census tract, excluding English and French.
The result is a tapestry of crayon colours – certainly informative, but also beautiful in their own right (if we say so ourselves).
