Vendors also set up a mini local market trying to sell their goods.

“We want to take this opportunity to introduce this park to Calgarians and show our appreciation for their support all year long,” Warren Connell, CEO of the Calgary Stampede, said.

The new Enmax Park is a green space close to the downtown core.

The “Best Pie in Calgary” competition also took place and Global’s own Paul Haysom was a judge in the contest.
