Hundreds of Calgarians introduced to new Enmax Park at Community Fall Fair

Kids and their parents gathered Saturday for some music and all sorts of other activities at the Community Fall Fair hosted by the Calgary Stampede.

Hundreds of people made their way to Enmax Park near the stampede grounds for some horse wagon rides, pumpkin painting and a pancake breakfast.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Vendors also set up a mini local market trying to sell their goods.

“We want to take this opportunity to introduce this park to Calgarians and show our appreciation for their support all year long,” Warren Connell, CEO of the Calgary Stampede, said.

The new Enmax Park is a green space close to the downtown core.

The “Best Pie in Calgary” competition also took place and Global’s own Paul Haysom was a judge in the contest.
