EDMONTON – Dates for a preliminary hearing are expected to be set in an Edson courtroom Tuesday for Travis Vader, accused of being behind the disappearance and death of an elderly St. Albert couple two years ago.
Vader has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Lyle and Marie McCann, who disappeared while headed to B.C. in July 2010 to visit family. Their burnt-out motorhome was found two days later west of Edmonton, but their bodies have yet to be found.
