The Star Wars stand-alone film Rogue One has a third trailer, and it’s all about Jyn. Jyn Erso, that is.
Jyn, who’s played by lead Felicity Jones, becomes the de facto leader for a group of unlikely heroes in a time of major conflict in the universe. The ragtag team bands together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction.

The trailer opens with Imperial forces advancing on a farm, while Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen) comforts his young daughter, telling her that he’s doing it “to protect her,” before an adult Jyn wakes up in a prison cell. The trailer also shows Alliance forces breaking her out, and the Empire boasting about the immense power the Death Star gives them.
Then, at the end, we catch yet another milliseconds-long glimpse of Star Wars villain Darth Vader.
