Global Okanagan is collecting food and donations for local food banks once again this year.
It’s the third annual Thanks for Giving Food Drive.
Last year, Global B.C. and Global Okanagan collectively raised more than $85,000 in monetary donations and 50,000 kilograms of food.

Donations will be accepted online and at two locations in the Okanagan on October 6.
Food can be dropped off at Global Okanagan at 342 Leon Avenue in Kelowna and at the Penticton Salvation Army Thrift store on Main Street in Penticton.
Alternately, people can text ‘FOOD’ to 41010 to donate $5, $10, $20 or $25 (specify the amount and it will be added to your phone bill.)
