An SPCA rescue worker responded to an apartment complex in central Singapore after a resident in a neighbouring building reported a cat had become stuck on an outside ledge.

A pair of police officers can been seen in the video holding open a blanket far below the stranded cat, prepared to catch the cat in case it fell.

Fortunately the SPCA worker was able to bring the cat to safety and re-unite it with its owner.

The owner was told to properly screen all doors and windows in the apartment to prevent the cat from climbing onto the ledge in the future.
