Toronto police seek suspect in multiple affluent home robberies

Police are asking the public to help locate a suspect wanted in connection with 19 counts of break-and-enter in affluent Toronto homes over the last three months.

Multiple homes in the Leaside, Rosedale and Yorkville areas were allegedly robbed overnight between July and September.

Police said the suspect entered the houses through unlocked doors and windows to steal jewelry, cash and electronics.

Matthew Ward, 28, from Toronto is described as 5’10”, 196 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
