MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Peel police say no one was injured when shots were fired Tuesday night at a mall in Mississauga where a robbery took place.
Police say the robbery happened at Peoples Jewellers in the Erin Mills Town Centre just before 8:30 p.m.

An unknown quantity of jewelry was taken in the robbery by at least two suspects.
Both fled the scene on foot.
It is unclear if the shots were fired in the store or elsewhere in the mall.
Police have yet to identify the suspects.
“Luckily, no one was hurt as a result of shots being fired within the mall,” said Const. George Tudos.
The mall was bustling at the time of the robbery and Tudos said the “outcome could have been a lot worse.”
