The search for missing 65-year-old hiker Debbie Blair has been suspended.
Blair was last seen near Donut Rock trail junction on a Cypress Mountain hike Thursday Sept. 29.
A team of more than 50 volunteers, helicopters, and rescue personnel have been scouring the area since Thursday.
North Shore Rescue suspended rescue operations late Saturday evening saying they have exhaustively searched all areas that can be safely accessed.
The search will remain suspended until further information about Blair’s whereabouts is known.
Her family is currently travelling to the Lower Mainland to meet with investigators and North Shore Rescue.
It is believed Blair was wearing blue and white runners, white cotton pants, a blue baseball hat, and a T-shirt.
The West Vancouver Police are asking anyone who believes they may have seen Blair since her disappearance to contact them.
