Missing mountain biker found in Penticton

A search for a missing mountain biker has ended in Penticton.

The search began Sunday in the Little White area of Kelowna where a mountain biker was reported missing.

Police say the biker became separated from a group of friends.

“RCMP can confirm that the man had been on Little White mountain with three of his friends when he suddenly became separated from the group, ended up going down different slopes and failed to meet at the base of the trails,” said Cnst. Jesse O’Donaghey.

He said the missing biker ended up in Penticton.

“The man continued down and followed what turned out to be a service road which led him into the Penticton area,” O’Donaghey said.
