Saskatoon police say charges are pending following a single-vehicle rollover Sunday morning on Central Avenue.

Emergency crews were called to the crash near 111th Street just before 5 a.m. CT.

Police said a southbound vehicle lost control, struck a parking meter and rolled onto its side.

According to Saskatoon Fire Department officials, a man in the SUV was helped out by a bystander while a woman was removed by crew members through the sunroof.

The Saskatoon man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. The woman, from Leoville, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Both 29-year-old patients were taken to hospital by MD Ambulance.

A collision analyst attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
