RCMP said the body of a swimmer who went missing in the Oldman River near Taber Park over the weekend, was recovered Monday afternoon.
Police said the 33-year-old man’s body was found just after noon but did not specify where.
Mounties said that while an investigation is ongoing, the death is not believed to be suspicious.

RCMP said officers were called to Taber Park at around 2 p.m. Sunday when a man went missing after climbing a pillar and jumping into the river.

They said he had been swimming with three of his siblings at the time.
Police did not reveal a cause of death and said the victim’s name would not be released.
