Fire crews are on scene at a large blaze at a west Edmonton strip mall Friday morning.
The fire is in the area of 95 Avenue and 156 Street.
Video from the Global One news helicopter shows smoke and flames billowing up from a building in the strip mall, nearby a gas station.

Five businesses are affected, but firefighters say they are not concerned about the proximity of the gas station at this time.
“There is a gas station immediately east of the structure on fire, and at this point, we’ve contained the fire to the building, and I don’t think the gas station’s at risk at this point,” explains Deputy Fire Chief John Lamb.
They say the 8,000 square foot structure is destroyed.
“I consider this building a total loss at this point,” says Lamb.
“We’ve had the neighbours and the residents downwind in the smoke, we’ve asked them to shelter in place that means stay inside their houses with the windows and doors shut with the furnaces off,” he says.
It’s not clear what caused the fire.
