Halifax Regional Police are investigating an incident of voyeurism after a man reportedly took a video of a boy in a stall of a men’s washroom at Park Lane Mall.
Police say that around 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 18, someone took a video of the 14-year-old boy who was in the stall beside him. The suspect and victim were in a washroom near the cinema, HRP says.
Investigators say the boy yelled at the man then ran out of the washroom with his 13-year-old friend who was also in the washroom.
He told his father about the incident, who then reported it to police.
Police have released a photo of a man they are seeking to identify, who is described as having medium complexion, dark hair and was wearing a grey T-shirt, dark grey pants, dark shoes and a dark ball cap.
He was also wearing a knapsack and what police say “looked like a black and white Adidas cape over his shoulder.”
The man in the photos, or anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020 or contact www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
