Brandon, Man., residents will no longer be able to hop on a direct, non-stop flight to Toronto.
According to the City of Brandon, WestJet is putting a stop to flights between the two cities.
The direct service was implemented in June as a trial run, offering four flights a week between Brandon and Toronto.

In late July, the airline said it planned to offer the service as a year-round route, beginning in late October.
“However, WestJet has indicated that bookings for the service have been very sluggish ahead of the route’s scheduled return and, as such, it has made the decision to cancel the route altogether prior to its planned start,” Brandon’s city manager, Scott Hildebrand said in a media release.
Passengers who have existing bookings will be contacted to make alternate arrangements.
The company continues to operate a Brandon to Calgary flight, seven days a week.
