WINNIPEG — Are you looking to get rid of a tree from your front yard? The City of Winnipeg might be able to help.

It’s in search of a large spruce tree for their annual Christmas tree display in front of City Hall at the corner of Main Street and Market Avenue.

The city’s Public Works Department said crews remove the tree at no cost to the homeowner and clean up all debris afterwards. They even remove the stump to approximately two inches below ground level.
