Regina’s Ten Tree apparel not your average clothing company

Two young Regina entrepreneurs are making their mark internationally with a unique idea.

The two men from the Queen City have started a clothing company called Ten Tree Apparel but this isn’t an ordinary clothing companyfor every item of clothing you purchase from Ten Tree they, in return, plant 10 trees in the environment.

“The more and more we do the more positive impact that we can make environmentally is the big thing,” said co-owner of Ten Tree Kalen Emsley.

One of the most asked questions the young men get is:“How do I know that 10 trees are being planted for every item of clothing I bought?

Another thing Ten Tree has tried to do is inspire people to enjoy the outdoors was create a Youtube video that launched on Tuesday and already has over 100,000 views.

“The idea behind the video was to get people excited about the environment and to put a fun spin on it,” Co-owner of Ten Tree David Luba said.

You can purchase their clothing in a number of stores around the province or online but the young entrepreneurs have big plans for Ten Tree.

“Our major goal is to every single year get a million trees planted so we would like to get there,” added Luba.

The two will be appearing on an episode of Dragon’s Den on Wednesday night.
