Winnipeg Rowing Club offering fall and winter paddles

WINNIPEG — Even though the Olympics have come and gone, there may still be some lingering Olympic fever in Winnipeg.

The days are shorter and the temperatures are cooler but there is still time to try rowing in Winnipeg. The Winnipeg Rowing Club can accommodate beginners and is also a great training ground for athletes looking to try a new sport.

While on site, Global’s Mike Koncan picked up a oar and hit the water with Olympic silver medalist, Janine Hanson.
