If you’re tired of the same abdominal routine, we’ve got a few tips for quick and effective core exercises in this episode of Get Fit Manitoba.
Shapes fitness trainer Jodi Bodnarchuk suggests people treat their core as the most important part of their fitness.
“Your core is your power house, the stronger your core is the more effective the rest of your body is going to be,” said Bodnarchuk.
She reccomends keeping your elbows in line with your ears when doing situps to avoid straining your necks, then working on your obliques and your lower back.
“A six pack isn’t something that’s even normal for a lot of women to have, what we want to make sure is that it’s helping you with everything else that you’re doing.”
