WINNIPEG — A baby who fell out of a second storey apartment window on Saturday is now recovering in hospital and in stable condition.
Constable Jay Murray with Winnipeg Police Service confirmed the status of the child and said investigators determined the incident was an accident. No charges are expected to be laid against the parents of the child.
The 14-month-old baby girl fell out of an apartment window on the 100 block of Mayfair Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
She was rushed to hospital after neighbours report they saw the baby in distress.
